MILITARY GRADE KEVLAR COATING from American Wheel and Tire will turn your boring paint job into something amazing. Most owners love the off road adventures that their vehicle allows. That is why Kevlar coating is the best decision. Kevlar coating is a super tough finish with 4700 tensile strength, and is basically scratch resistant in almost all cases. Dents? Not a worry. Kevlar coating is dent resistant in all but the most extreme cases. AWT can have your vehicle kevlar coated in a range of colors allowing for the ultimate in customization. Even the best paint job will eventually fade or peel. The kevlar coating will not fade or peel over time like typical manufacturers paint. Any one can spray your vehicle with a bedliner coating. The big difference in the REAL kevlar finish and the preparation. AWT spends over 40 hours per vehicle to get ready for the process, there is short cuts that can be done and make the prep time less…AWT has elected to continue with our way because it delivers the best finish that will last and look like new years later. AWT has perfected the Kevlar coated vehicle and the finish process. We take every job as a high end make over…..we prep the vehicle for the Kevlar coating the same way we would paint a car. Everything comes out or off so we can assure a quality turn out. We have perfected our kevlar coating. A lot of companies out there spray coating like a bedliner. The process of spraying a vehicle with kevlar coating is a different animal… AWT’s experienced team of high tech paint technicians know their way around the paint booth and know Kevlar coating like no other.

  • Auto On/Off

    4.0
Great truck the auto on/off is a little annoying but it probably does help with the MPG as I avg 15.6 most of the time around town and some hwy. When it rains just be careful on making a turn with the pavement being wet or accelerating too quick as the rear end will want to come around and see you very easily. Lots of compliments though!
  • Style and look is great but some quality issues.

Style is great and I love the look of my Super crew Lariat. It feels very solid and the ride is great. I've owned 3 an 2003, 2016, and 2019. The issues I've found with this truck have been with the driver seat seeming to shift from side to side slightly, it was missing a few inches of defroster element in the sliding back glass(they have ordered a replacement) and a very noisy engine compared to the 2016 model 5.0 v8. The 2019 5.0 has some faint valve chatter and a single pop noise when taking your foot off the gas under load. Louder going up hill. Also the 2019 was below minimum oil requirement at just 2500 miles. So far it has used about a half a quart in a 1000 miles since change so that has slowed down some. The noises do not seem to hurt my mileage or vehicle operation, they are just annoying in a $55000 truck.
  • love the regular cab pickup

The regular cab F150 XLT V8 FX4 is the truck I got. So far I love the truck if I could change some things it would be the fit and finish on the interior its not up to the price tag of these trucks if you pay 35000 for a truck it should be perfect I think. The only other issue is the 10 speed transmission in normal driving mode is doesn't shift smoothly if you use any other mode it seems much better especially sport mode the V8 is awesome. I dislike the auto stop/start ignition it doesn't save any gas what so ever. I disabled mine it was easy. I drove a Silverado regular cab and would have bought it but GM financing offers you rebates only to take them away with high interest rates and for the same money I got a more powerful V8 and better XLT FX4 package with navigation the Silverado was a work truck w/black out package no information system no NAV a bad stereo just a basic truck for the same money but it is a very good looking truck. The RAM sport regular cab would have been my first choice it had everything I wanted but I couldn't find new one within a 150 mile area the ford I got was in Maine about a 100 miles from where I live. The regular cabs are not popular especially the ones with options. In the end I'm happy with the F150 but I think any of the big three RAM Ford Chevrolet would be a good choice in the end it depends on the deal you can get from the dealers
